What is it?

The 2019 Novel Coronavirus, or 2019-nCoV, is a new respiratory virus first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. The 2019 Novel Coronavirus causeed an estimated 28,000 known cases/hospitalizations and over 600 deaths in February 2020

Symptoms and Treatment

Outbreaks

This virus probably originally emerged from an animal source but now seems to be spreading from person-to-person. It’s important to note that person-to-person spread can happen on a continuum. Some viruses are highly contagious (like measles), while other viruses are less so. At this time, it’s unclear how easily or sustainably this virus is spreading between people.

Decontamination of environment and CLEAN HANDS

Decontamination of environment is an important part of controlling the spread of 2019 Novel Coronavirus. The virus is relatively stable and can persist on surfaces or in the air of the environment. Keep the air clean to prevent transmission. Always wash hands or use hand and skin cleansers to prevent further cross contamination.

It is necessary to disinfect with a product that is EPA registered to kill viruses, such as Purefypro disinfectant. PUREFY disinfecting product kills COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)*, flu viruses and Norovirus in 60 seconds, the fastest kill time among disinfectants. Norovirus is the smallest and hardest kill among all viruses. It is one of the benchmarks for effectiveness of disinfectants against viruses. *EPA registered / CDC recommended

Note: Most products disinfect viruses in 10 minutes and need to be reapplied 3 to 5 times since the surface needs to remain wet for the entire 10 minutes to be effective. PUREFYPRO kill viruses in 60 seconds. There is no need for reapplication.
